天光给魔鬼陷害，心有不甘，与崔仲谋携手对付之。仲谋老奸巨猾，一方面授计于天光，另一方面又唆摆魔鬼对天光不利。 魔鬼想出一妙计，在电话内扮天光叫苏小姐贴通告说把全公司的家具平价出售，公司因此大乱。仲谋、万锋暗中打电报通知振宇的叔父商百诚回来，令秋发更烦恼。 为了证明魔鬼、林天光对公司有没有用途，万锋要他俩去投块地回来。当日，仲谋命人把天光的文件换掉。拍卖场上，两人高价买了个海还懵然不知。 翌日，百诚等人到地段观察，见是个海，便召开会议解雇二人。秋发假装解雇他们，待百诚回美国后始叫他们复职，谁知秋发见百诚重返公司，大为惊愕。
