Sciacca, Marciano and Coppola investigate the death of a young girl. The murderer, the victim's peer and friend, is found not far from the scene of the murder. At the police station, the police discover that the boy is incapable of understanding and willing: he will not end up in prison, but in a psychiatric hospital. Shortly afterward, a condominium fight breaks out in the victim's building. Sciacca suspects that the girl's parents are hiding something. His infallible instinct will prove him right once again. Malinconico is increasingly determined to conquer the city's drug market. The drug dealing areas of Spaccanapoli, however, are still in the hands of a small-time neighborhood boss. When one of these squares is razed to the ground, causing the death of a young boy who lived there with his mother and little sister, Vitale and the hawks become convinced that Malinconico organized the ambush.
