Berts grootste wens komt uit: hij is geselecteerd voor deelname aan Te land, ter zee en in de lucht in de spetterende categorie Tobbedansen! Voor Bert is dit het hoogst haalbare, maar de woongroep reageert niet bijster enthousiast. Bert ontsteekt in woede en Piet vlucht naar de enige plek waar ze zich veilig voelt: het huis van Melissa. Daar wordt ze opgevangen door Ivo. Als Bert Piet komt ophalen komt Ivo eindelijk te weten welk verdriet de woongroep al jaren met zich meedraagt.
