取りしまりがきびしいため、ミュートシティで略奪した金品を密輸船へと運び出せずにいたゾーダは、ヒットマン・ピコを呼び出して、銀河警察の本部長・ジョン田中の始末を命じた。 自分がねらわれているとは知らない田中は、大好きな歌手ケイト・アレンのディナーショーへ行くことを楽しみにしていた。しかしそこへピコが襲いかかってくる。なんとか運良くピコを撃退したものの、田中の命が狙われていると知ったジョディは、安全のために田中を銀河警察の建物内に監禁することに。しかし、どうしてもケイトのディナーショーに行きたい田中は、こっそり監視の目を盗んで抜け出してしまうのだった。
