Ki is grievous and painful when he got the news of Man's death. He then dissipates his grief by getting drunk. Wai Sum sympathies him and consoles him. Siu Hai understands Ki's feeling and is willing to let him free. Therefore, he can stop managing the illegal business. Hai also understands that Sai Kit is interest in music and thus decides to send him to study music aboard. However, Sai Kit is reluctant to leave Hong Kong and refuses. Later, he accepts his father's good will after Ki's persuasion. Kit takes the opportunity to express his love towards Sum before leaving Hong Kong. However, Sum manifests that she has already fallen in love with somebody else and rejects him in a round about way. Kit feels very disappointed. Siu Hai discovers Chuan has cheated him and forces him to pay the debts within a week. Instead of obeying Hai, he plots together with King Keung to kill Hai.
