With just 72 hours in each location, Annie enjoys the sights and learns from well-known local comedians about what it takes to break into their scene. As she prepares for her own set, Annie finds out what makes locals laugh - the unique cultural reference points, the mostly unwritten comedy rules, and the things you should never say – and what happens when you bomb in a place that isn’t your home. Filmed across four international cities, this one-hour ABC Australia documentary gives audiences a unique 'fly on the wall' insight into the Stand-Up Comedy scene in the region.
