Chow Lin, in revenge for her parents, resolutely promises Tin Ying to get the Holy Clothes. The Lama transfers the position of abbot to Long and tells him the origin of the Holy Clothes. He further states that only the ice bow and ice arrows can suppress the Holy Clothes. The Big Enchanter kills the Lama and arranges Tin Ying and Chow Lin to have sexual intercourse in the privy chamber. Long discovers this and stops it.
