Перший мультсеріал про трансформерів у однойменній франшизі, що вийшов 1984 року. Він був створений на основі серії іграшок «Трансформери» та задумувався в тому числі для їх реклами. Мультсеріал тривав чотири сезони і мав один повнометражний мультфільм 1986 року. Після здобуття всесвітньої популярності, отримав численні продовження і перезапуски.
