Here we meet Holden Atkinson, a young cowboy whose forefathers were also cowboys for the Hudson's Bay Company in the 1600s; his mother, who has been digging through the archives for answers about her identity; and his grandfather, who shares intimate memories of growing up caught between two worlds.
