Jacquelyn Frohlich
She was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, into a family that had fled Nazi Germany. At the age of 18, she moved to the United States to study at Emory University, then at Sarah Lawrence College, where she earned a master's degree in writing. She published several novels and soon became interested in directing. After producing, writing and directing four short films, she signed Wayward, her first feature.
