Katarína Kolníková
Katarína Kolníková (* April 20, 1921, Radošina - † May 29, 2006, Radošina) was a Slovak actress. Since 1971 she has worked at the Radošinský Naive Theater (RND). She has acted in almost all of Stanislav Štepka's productions. She grew up in Radošin in a poor family of a railway worker. She had eight siblings. She went to school in her hometown. At first she worked as a seasonal worker on the episcopal estate in Radošina, then for several years in Piešťany. In 1941 she married Michal Kolník from Nitrianská Blatnice, with whom she had four children. After 1945, when her husband left her, she was left alone with the children. Until her retirement, she worked as a schoolgirl and foster mother in a kindergarten in Radošin. However, she sacrificed her whole life not only to children, but also to theater. In 1932, she made her debut as an 11-year-old in the play Jezuliatko. After amateur theatrical years, when she tried out her theatrical work in her native Radošina in plays by Ferek Urbánek, Jozef Gregor Tajovský or Agatha Christie, she came to the Radošinský naive theater in 1971, where she formed and permanently defined herself in her first play People (1971). its stage form as well as acting and human philosophy inscribed in a single word - man. With her unique and unrepeatable personality, an unpretentious poetic fluid entered the Slovak theater, the charm of the spirit of a simple but at the same time internally rich man. She became a long-term unforgettable icon of the Radošinský Naive Theater and one of the most prominent actresses not only of the Radošinský Theater, but also of the Slovak professional theater.
