Als weeskind werd Chew opgevangen in de heilig Shur-Li tempel waar hij alle stijlen van de eeuwenoude vechtsport Kung-Pooey leerde. Nu moet hij al zijn kennis en kunde aanwenden voor de gevaarlijkste opdracht ooit: Het terugvinden van de 'Heilige Perzik', die jaren geleden uit de tempel werd gestolen. Zijn zoektocht brengt Art Chew naar de Verenigde Staten, waar hij ontdekt dat de perzik in handen is van de kwaadaardige nachtclubeigenaresse Helen Hu die er een drankje van wil maken. Voor Chew zit er maar één ding: Kick some ass!
