WAN is just about to unveil the Plum Blossom Valiant’s mask. FONG returns to the troupe, intending to reveal her identity as a woman, but WAN urges her to think twice. To make up for the three thousand taels paid in compensation to the chicken farmers, KWAI asks KWAN to raise retail prices of oil and salt. WAN invites KOK to an outing in the countryside, but KOK deliberately keeps her waiting. When he shows up later, WAN is gone already.
