座頭市鉄火旅
旅の途中、何者かに斬られた足利の親分・庄太郎の最期に立ち会った座頭市は、足利へとやってくる。庄太郎親分亡き後、その地では極悪な岩五郎一家が、関八州見廻り役の桑山とつるんで、勢力を伸ばしていた。岩五郎の子分を相手に見事な立ち回りをやってのけた市は、その場に居合わせた老刀工・仙造から愛用の仕込杖が寿命間近であることを告げられ、これを機にやくざ渡世から足を洗い、カタギになることを決意するのだが…。
