Edina (Jennifer Saunders) sikeres, ám mégis neurotikus asszony, akinek hiába van befutott vállalkozása, mégis állandóan attól retteg, hogy valamiről lemarad, hogy nem érti meg az idôk szavát. Együtt él tinédzser lányával, aki néha felnőttebben viselkedik, mint az anyja.
