FUNG finally gets aware of his true relationship with WAN. WAN tells him what happened all those years ago, and reminds him to keep it secret. SHAN and WAI go to Lantau Island to find out more about WAI’s background. From the conversation with his wife, WAI knows what kind of person he has been. He feels guilty and wants to make it up to everyone. From that day on, a lot of people come to ask him to return the money he owes them. Those who live in MAN’s house give WAN a hard time. FUNG cannot bear to see WAN suffer and persuades her to resign. WAI knows that his wife is being bullied by her current boyfriend HO, and immediately goes with SHAN to help her out. WAI has saved her wife’s illegitimate son, and has successfully driven HO away. He is highly appreciated for his courage and heroism.
