A 17. században Japán két részre szakad. A keleti sereget Tokugawa Ieyasu hadúr vezeti, és hadban állnak a Toyotomi-klánnal, valamint a nyugati sereggel. Bár megnyert nemrég egy csatát, rosszul áll a szénája a keleti haderőnek. Toyotomi seregének modern fegyverek kellenek, ami megfordíthatja a háború kimenetelét.
