Lamberti and Vitale work day and night to find damning evidence that will frame Malinconico once and for all. The two investigate the customs agents corrupted by the boss in search of news about the arrival in Naples of a large shipment of cocaine. One of them has a son who ended up in a wheelchair following the attack on a judge. Vitale suspects that something is hidden behind the tragic episode. Malinconico keeps Gabriele hidden to protect him from possible retaliation by the Colombians who hold him responsible for the arrest of their boss Castillo. Unable to track him down, Desirée becomes convinced that Gabriele is with Vicky and goes to look for her at the police station.
